Bryan Wogen is a board-certified Physician Assistant who comes from a diverse background. He trained in the Military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2014. He has worked in several settings including Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, and Geriatrics. Bryan has been a member of the United States Army for 20 years. In 2016, he returned from a deployment in Central America where he was the lead provider for a small, mobile team. Bryan, his wife, and their six children are very active and adventurous in the outdoors, and share a passion for helping others.
Krisanne Wogen is a respected leader known for her strategic insight, operational excellence, and ability to drive sustainable growth across diverse organizations. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening business operations, building high-performing teams, and aligning mission-driven goals with practical execution.
Krisanne brings a collaborative leadership style grounded in accountability, clear communication, and thoughtful decision-making. She is particularly recognized for her ability to navigate complex organizational environments, improve systems and processes, and support long-term stability and scalability. Her contributions have consistently helped organizations enhance performance while maintaining a strong culture and commitment to quality.

Emily joined the Lykos team in February of 2021. She brings over a decade of healthcare experience, including veteran healthcare and benefits, administrative operations, and clinical knowledge and support, allowing her to approach her work with both expertise and compassion. Outside of the office, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Zak, and their three children—Brently, Olivia, and Samuel.
Courtney is a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with over 20 years of professional experience. Her dedication to patient care and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset in the healthcare field. Beyond her medical expertise, Courtney is a loving parent to two wonderful kids, bringing a compassionate and nurturing approach to both her professional and personal life. In addition to her healthcare pursuits, Courtney is an avid tennis mom enthusiast, finding her peace balance while watching her kids play the sport and pursue their dreams.
Ronni went to CNA school when she was 18 and fell in love with healthcare. From there, she went on to obtain her QMAP certification and worked in the assisted living setting for 6+ years. During her time in the healthcare field she fell in love with the geriatric population, an underserved population, that she became passionate about. What she loves most about being a part of the Lykos family is the opportunity to make a true difference as we are passionate about the work that we do. She is a family oriented person and a Colorado native. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, loved ones, and pets.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Elary is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 17 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Midwestern University in Downer’s Grove, IL in 2002 and has practiced in Colorado Springs since then, specializing in geriatric medicine since 2016. She enjoys the opportunity of working with the elderly and their families in an effort to achieve maximal well-being and optimizing quality of life.
Elary is a Colorado native, originally from the Western Slope. When not working, she and her husband, along with their furry family member, enjoy everything the Colorado outdoors has to offer and she is learning to play the cello and piano.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Brad is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 11 years of experience working in Geriatrics and Adult Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. He really enjoys the opportunity afforded in Geriatrics of getting to know his patients and developing a strong therapeutic relationship with the goal of achieving wellness. He views this relationship as collaborative with the clinician’s role as a guide whose job it is to understand the current state of medical science and who then counsels the patient and their family in shared decision making on a path toward physical and mental well being.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Kimm is a board-certified Physician Assistant with several years of experience providing exceptional care to diverse patient populations. She was an Army Combat Medic who served two tours in Iraq and obtained her Bachelors in Exercise Science from Illinois State University. Kimm worked in community health for six years before returning to academics; she graduated with her Masters Degree from Emory University PA Program in 2017. She enjoys working with our more-experienced patient population, and served in specialties including palliative medicine and allergy/immunology before joining Lykos in summer of 2023. When Kimm isn’t working, she and her husband are wrangling a little herd of human and fur kids, and a surprise fish. She always carries treats with her and she definitely wants to know your dog’s name.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Corinne is a board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2007. She discovered her calling and passion for caring for the older population from her first time working at a nursing home as an undergraduate student. She has practiced in a geriatric setting ever since. She continues to find geriatric medicine a perfect blend of challenging and rewarding experiences. Making special connections with patients and their family members is a hallmark of her care.
Away from work, Corinne enjoys family time with her three children and husband and is their biggest fan, supporting them in their various sports and school activities. Taking advantage of rare spare time, they love traveling and experiencing the great outdoors.

Maren is a board certified physician assistant with nearly 20 years of family medicine experience. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate NY (2001) before moving to CS to practice on the west side. She has a special place in her heart for seniors and really values the commitment to forming relationships with patients that Lykos offers. She believes it is through these relationships that patients can feel more connected and ultimately less lonely in the later stages of life. Maren also partners with a non profit at a ranch in rural Colorado to provide equine assisted therapy for individuals who have experienced trauma. In her free time, Maren enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, horseback riding, hiking, and she will never turn down a good cup of coffee or an opportunity to scratch behind an old dog’s ears (many of whom reside in her own home).
Suzanne Larson has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 5 years. She loves to study and learn and is constantly taking yet another course. She loves to take the time to actually get to know her patients and establish a relationship with them. She is grateful for the flexibility of scheduling with Lykos Medical to be able to do that. Suzanne received her BSN from West Texas A & M University and worked for over 14 years as a nurse in Cardiology, Med Surg, Labor and Delivery and Long Term Care. She received her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She and her husband live on a small farm and raise Angus cattle. In her spare time, she loves to take her little herd of poodles for a run around their farm and whistle for the horses to come in for their morning treats.
Dora Balderas, FNP-BC, is a newly certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to serving the Southeastern Colorado region. With a diverse and extensive background in nursing, Dora brings over two decades of hands-on experience in a wide range of healthcare settings, including long-term care, hospice, home health, wound care, extended care, correctional nursing, and nurse aide education.
Dora began her healthcare journey in 1997 as a nurse aide, driven by a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care. She earned her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential from Otero Junior College in 2006 and advanced her career by becoming a Registered Nurse in 2008. Building on this foundation, Dora later completed her graduate studies at the University of Phoenix, earning her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on primary care.
Now practicing in Southeast Colorado, Dora is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals and families in rural communities. She values the strong community ties and outdoor lifestyle the region offers and is proud to raise her three children in this close-knit environment.
Dora looks forward to forming long-term, collaborative relationships with her patients and contributing meaningfully to the health and well-being of the community she calls home.
While I did serve our country as an AE (Aviation Electrician) in the Navy, I did not find that to be what I truly wanted to do. I did not like being told where I had to live and what I had to do, mostly hated playing with electrical things; maybe just because I was 17, but it did not suit me at all.
It wasn’t until I became a nurse that I realized that I could earn a living by simply doing the right thing – caring for my neighbors.
I found early in my career that our most precious population are all a living piece of history. They have served us well in many personal and professional ways, building our great country. I know it is my calling to serve them as they live out their golden years.
I am from the smallest state in the union, RI, but have lived all over our beautiful country. I choose to make Colorado Springs my forever home after falling in love with the terrain and multitude of outdoors activities. My spare time is well spent with my family and pets, doing all the fun things our city has to offer.
One of my favorite sayings is “as iron sharpens iron, so a man shall sharpen man”; I find that kind words and edification are the easiest way to sharpen another; this adds to my life by creating friendships and bonds that otherwise would have been missed.
My medical schooling started in Okeechobee, FL with my ADN degree, after repaying my tuition to our community hospital there, my family decided a change would be refreshing, so we came to Colorado Springs. I earned two more degrees, BSN from Western Governor’s University, then MSN/FNP from Bradley University. While my licenses could take me anywhere in the country, I choose to stay here; having lived in 9 other states I realize that this place is perfect for me and my family.
I have 20yrs of RN experience, with five years of NP experience, four of them with seniors and one with all ages- proving to myself, once again, I prefer to take care of our aging population over any other age group.

Dawn Schwarz brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to Lykos Medical. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and has served as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 12 years. Dawn earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso.
As a military spouse, Dawn’s career has taken her to diverse practice settings across the country, allowing her to gain experience in many specialties. Of these, geriatrics has remained her true passion, and she is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to older adults and their families.
Now that her husband has retired from military service, Dawn looks forward to establishing long-term roots in Colorado and serving the local community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her son’s passion for the stage in community theatre, and doting on her beloved fur baby, Princess Leia.
Taylor is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about building lasting connections with her patients and families. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2016 and her Masters as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2024, and went on to complete a year-long PMHNP fellowship at Peak Vista Community Health Center. Her nursing background includes cardiac and neuro care, home health, and a home visiting program for first-time mothers, where she discovered her love for meeting patients in their own environments and supporting them through every stage of life. Taylor first found her passion for working with older adults while caring for residents in assisted living as a CNA in high school, a calling that has shaped her career ever since.
Taylor believes in the strong connection between physical and mental health and has a special interest in caring for older adults. She values collaboration and wraparound care as keys to helping patients thrive. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs, as well as mountain biking, rock climbing, and skiing with her husband.
